Head to Haridwar in the evening, take the night train to Kathgodam, then a jeep up into the hills.
Train from Ajmer + jeep
One direct train: board in Ajmer at midday, sleep on the way, and wake up in Kathgodam at the foot of the hills. A jeep takes you up from there.
