A small waterfall in the forest, below the village of Balta. Ride to the village, walk down a forest trail, and reach a small, quiet pool. Best after the monsoon, when the water is flowing.
How to get there
- RideA taxi to Balta village, via Papersali. About 20 minutes.
- WalkFrom the village, about 1.5 km on a forest trail to the waterfall. The trail isn't marked.
- AskBest to go with someone from the village who knows the way. Ask at the Chabad House.
Good to know
- The trail is slippery in the rain. Wear good shoes.
- There are leopards in the area: head back well before sunset.
- No shops on the way: bring water and food with you.
